  1. 1. The principle

A demonstration is less about a place and a time than about what it demands. It is this text, and the trust placed in it, that brings people together.

ARALLIA starts from there: the text of the demands is a public object, versioned, dated and attributed. It is never rewritten in place of the old one; it is added to it.

  2. 2. What we refuse

We refuse the algorithm that decides what you see, the popularity that suggests one cause weighs more than another, the trust score that rates people.

We also refuse profiling: knowing who came is not our business, unless the person chooses to say so.

  3. 3. What we are building

An official register for each movement: identity, organisers and roles, affiliations, adopted charter, the full history of versions.

A digital fingerprint of this register, which lets anyone check that a poster, a link or a QR code does point to the published version.

  4. 4. The limits we set ourselves

The platform does not take sides: it hosts causes of every persuasion, as long as they respect the charter base.

It replaces neither the law nor the authorities: the legal framework of a gathering remains the responsibility of its organisers, who can freely fill it in on their page.

  5. 5. Privacy by design

We collect only what a feature needs to work, and nothing “just in case”. No advertising tracking, no hidden profiles, no resale.

Taking part in a demonstration must never expose anyone: a person’s attendance is known only if they choose to declare it, and they can take that choice back.

  6. 6. Financial independence

No advertising, no paid promotion: money cannot buy a cause visibility, nor weigh on what the platform shows.

Funding sources are made public. If a funder cannot be named without discomfort, it should not be funding us.

  7. 7. Explainable, contestable moderation

Every removal or restriction cites the charter rule behind it, is dated, attributed to an identifiable team and stays visible in the history.

The organisers concerned can contest it and get a reasoned answer. Nobody is silenced quietly.

  8. 8. Openness and portability

A movement’s data belongs to it: it can be exported at any time in open formats, at no cost and with no conditions.

The verification mechanisms (fingerprints, signatures) are publicly documented, so anyone can check them without depending on us.

  9. 9. Accessible to everyone

A cause must not be reserved for those with the latest phone or a good connection: digital accessibility, light pages, several languages.

What is essential — reading a demand, checking a poster, finding a gathering — must work without an account and on modest devices.

  10. 10. A philosophy that evolves in public

These principles are not set in stone: they will evolve with the platform and with what its users expect of it.

We apply to them the rule we stand for: each version is dated, kept and readable. Nothing is rewritten in place of the old.

Version history

The platform’s philosophy evolves. Every published version is kept as it was and stays readable: we add, we never rewrite.
